I'm pretty sure you answered this before but i went through 50 pages of your tumblr and i still couldn't find it so could you please tell me what your exact work out routine is?
HelIo! I change it up on a regular basis, but the routine I did today was:
20 minute run on treadmill
10 minute bike on stationary bike
3 sets of 20 push ups, 3 sets of 30-40 sit ups on exercise ball, 3 sets of 20-30 second bridges
3 sets of 10 wide grip pull-ups with assistance from machine, 3 sets of 10 dips with assistance from machine
3 sets of 10 bicep curls with 20 pound weights, 3 sets of 10 dumbell lifts (each side) on bench
2 sets of 20 (on each side) side cable pulls
3 sets of 10 tricep cable pull-downs.
That was it for today. I rotate in and out with other things like 10 minute rowing, pull-down bar, overhead dumbell lift, bench press, leg lift, medicine ball twist and a number of other exercises. Also, when I’m not pressed for time I may add in other exercises, so the length of my workout depends on the time at my disposal :)
Good evening! I was wondering if you know if binders would have any affect on a pacemaker? I have mine located in my upper chest/breast area just a few inches below my collar bone and I am concerned if there could be any problems while using a binder.
Very good question, and I’m afraid I don’t have an answer for you :( I would strongly recommend asking your doctor about this.
Pure speculation leads me to believe that there shouldn’t be an issue as long as you are using a proper binder and not binding too tight. However, please do ask your doctor.
I’m sorry I couldn’t be of more help, i hope you find the answer you’re looking for!
Hi Twin, i want to ask you somenthing and really is not meant to offend you in any way, but seem to be a little moody and cranky or maybe you're just tired... i don't know...i just want to see you happier!!
I wasn’t aware that I was moody or cranky. But hey, I guess no one really realizes how they come across to other people until they’re told. I’m interested to know what spurred this comment?
I’m actually doing pretty well aside from being a little overwhelmed with messages and comments to reply to XD
I miss your Aang cosplay, you looked so handsome in it! <3
And man I miss cosplaying Aang too! D: I want to cosplay him again, but I’m just not sure if I’m able to anymore :/ I think I’d look too old. I’ve always toyed with the idea of shaving my head to cosplay him XD
I didn't realize you had proposed to Nova! Congrats to the both of you! Did anyone by chance catch the proposal on video?
Thank you! :)
Funny story! I was filmed and we also had a photographer friend there to take some photos. BUT, in some eerie twist of fate, the video wasn’t recording (so not footage) and out friend’s memory card mysteriously wiped itself (deleting all of his photos from that day). I think only one photo remains that was taken on someone’s point and shoot. At first i was upset about it, but then a friend shrugged and said “well i guess that goes to show that it was meant to be a moment between you, Nova and your close friends and people who have helped you along the way”.
"The story is told in terms of a fellowship, a group of people who are out to do the right thing. They do this without the benefit of a deity who’s telling them what to do. God doesn’t appear in this story of good and evil. It’s up each person to decide what they’re going to do with their life" -Sir Ian McKellen
"It’s a hard story of hope. And it’s a story of people having to work so hard—- so hard—- for what is right" - John Noble
You know the moving picture thing you posted (dont know the actual title off the top of my head) where you were like, Im so pissed i forgot my shoes. ?Well i remember seeing that in one of your videos, an di loved it so much. But i cant remember which video it was in! You have so many XD Do you remember which one it is? and if so could you post a link to it ???
I'm gender-fluid and biologically female, and I work in retail. Depending on how I dress, I can pass either way. I've been called everything from Ma'am, to Miss, to Sir, and young man. I'm ok with this, it doesn't bother me at all. However, it bothers my mom. She thinks I should correct them. I finally got it thru to her that I don't care. But now she says that I should be correcting them in order to "make them aware" so they don't "make the same mistake with someone else." Any thoughts/advice?
This is probably a panic stadegy on bahlf of your mom. My mom tried to employ similar arguments, but what should come first is your comfort.
There really is no reason to correct people if you don’t want to, because quite honestly people judge gender based on gender presentation, not on actual gender. They can and will make the same “mistake” regardless of whether or not you correct them. it’s not like correcting will give them x-ray vision or instant chromosome testing… vision? Point is that biological sex is NOT discernible at a glance or even upon scrutiny.
Which begs the question, why do we even try?
In my opinion, biological sex is something that only a handful of people in your life ever need to know: intimate partners and doctors. Otherwise it’s all just gender presentation, and this goes for ALL people (cis, trans, genderqueer, doesn’t matter).
Hey Lucas. I'm an FtM and I've been having trouble with swimming. I find it extremely embarrassing when my chest shows because of the wet clothes. It just makes me feel so uncomfortable. If you don't mind me asking, what did you do (if you did do anything) to prevent this from happening. I have a senior end of year pool party coming up and I don't want to miss out on it because of such a stupid problem. Please help. (Also, I know you can buy special binder wet suits but I don't have the money)
I wore a binder underneath a rash guard, but keep in mind that I was very small chested so I didn’t have much of an issue hiding my chest at all. That being said, I really didn’t go swimming much… whether or not people could see my chest I was always upset being in an environment where every other guy was shirtless.
You can also wear a binder beneath a T-shirt (not a white one) or even a sports bra depending on how small-chested you are.
I hope that provided at least a little bit of help :S Sorry if it didn’t help much
Do you and Nova have wedding plans yet (date, her dress, I caught wind of a cosplay wedding)?
No confirmed plans yet, I got loads of paperwork to do first XD
But I can say with utmost certainty that we will not be having a cosplay wedding. I proposed in cosplay at a cosplay event, and I think that was enough homage paid to the hobby that brought us together.
When I see guys, I think they are attractive but have no sexual desires towards them. When I see girls, I am not immediately sexually attracted but if I get to know them and really like them I can experience that later. This all makes me really confused about my orientation. I don't know if I am bi or gay or straight of a flying hippopotamus. If you had to label me, what would I be?
You know exactly what your sexuality is, you just described it in greater detail than the words “straight” “gay” or “bisexual” ever could.
More often than not the “umbrella term” is just an approximation to make it easier for other people to understand your meaning. If one of these umbrella terms suits you well enough, use it. If not, then don’t feel like you have to define an extraordinarily complex thing like sexuality with a single term. I mean, that’s not exactly info you’re required to share with anyone else for any reason. And if someone really does want to know, then I’m sure they’d be willing to listen to a two sentence explanation like you gave to me :)
Not sure if this has been asked before, but what was your very first legitimate cosplay, and do you think it was pretty good by your standards now?
My first full cosplay was actually Sasuke, believe it or not:
We still use this costume, so it must be ok by my current standards. However it wasn’t made, more like McGuyvered together with pieces of clothing and some glueing/handsewing to make the collar/symbol.
Can't you do like community hockey or something? O.o Idk, here we have community softball teams and such but I'm not sure how it works with hockey and sports up there..
I’ve considered playing in one of the men’s rec leagues (I used to do that as a part-time thing between my own league practices/games and such). However I have no car to transport my gear to rinks and I don’t have the money to invest in enrolling in a league/paying for ice time :(
